Ian Clinton and The Working Dog Company™ are pleased to be able to offer Gundog Training and advice for both existing and new clients from Ian’s Hertfordshire/Bedfordshire base.
Ian works his Young Labrador on local shoots and can be seen out working 3 to 4 times a week during the shooting season. This hardworking team have also just won the Chiltern Gundog Society Novice test which you can read about here! Ian is a Committee member of the Utility Gundog Society HBB Branch where he also helps out at Working Tests, Field Trials and Spring/Summer Training sessions. He is also an Accredited Instructor for the renowned ‘Gundog Club’; the Club’s Graded Training Scheme provides an ideal opportunity for gundog owners to have their dogs tested against a consistent national standard.
Ian has many years experience and has trained all breeds of gundog, from Labradors & Spaniels to Italian Spinones & Munsterlanders. Our training ground has an enclosed area for younger dogs, and also a larger area including lots of cover, jumps and running lines for more experience dogs. Coming soon – Water Training Area!
